AngeL HURTADO

Painter and filmmaker. Born in El Tocuyo in 1927, he studied in Venezuela at the School of Plastic Arts in Caracas, under the direction of Antonio Edmundo Monsanto (1945-1950). Upon leaving school, he joined the group of artists who formed the Taller Libre de Arte.

Pintor y cineasta. Nació en El Tocuyo en 1927. Estudió en Venezuela en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Caracas, bajo la dirección de Antonio Edmundo Monsanto (1945-1950). A su salida formó parte del grupo de artistas que conformaron el Taller Libre de Arte.
